'Fraggle Rock' Movie Gets a Pair of Writers... →
nevertoooldtolovemuppets: Rango co-writer Jim Byrkit and Alex Manugian have been happed to pen the script for Fraggle Rock, New Regency’s big-screen adaptation of the 1980s musical puppet series created by Jim Henson. Initially a Canadian series that became a hit internationally (in the U.S. it played on HBO), Rock told the adventures of a group of cave-dwelling puppet creatures called...

The Perpetually-Updating List of Pet Names
These are things I think about. This is the tab I have open here at work, adding bullets between editing assignments. Good pet names, circa May 29, 2012: Von Rothbart (“Rothy”) Ziggy Stardust Zeppo Jane Eyre Art Garfunkel, Lil’ Garfunkel, Garfunkield (the last is good for cats with good singing voices who like lasagna) And more below, as they get weirder and...

NEVER GETS OLD.
gatsby: hey i just met you
gatsby: and this is crazy
gatsby: but i'm going to spend most of my life and wealth in an attempt to pursue you for your stunning vapidness and the warped image of yourself created in my mind as a precursor to my eventual fall
gatsby: so call me maybe

Ugh.
Messy coloring and resizing has delayed art plans. Also, the Aquabats Super Show. But that sounds less professional.

Productive Summer
It’s my first day off since work began, so I drew eight Muppets as eight Avengers characters. Hopefully I’ll have them colored soon. You can tell me that’s not what “productivity” means, but Gonzo Stark begs to differ with you.

rorysdiedagain: agentnatashabarton: norsed: However, getting angry at Matt is ENTIRELY unnecessary. God dammit, if you’ve any anger, take it out on someone else. This is completely unwarranted.  Fucking thank you. I can’t believe all the insults and anger being slung at Matt right now. You guys are disappointing me to the very core. I’m just glad that were getting a doctor to run it!...

Pros and Cons
This internship has me so on edge, it’s not even funny. I’m learning a lot about writing for the Internet, which is really cool and super-helpful. I’m really glad I’m doing this, and I know with time, I’ll calm down. But at the same time, every time I email my mentor, I’m internally like: Yeah. Although: Finally getting to use those GIFs? Worth it.

ANSWER: What is up with the League?
jgaskisanerd answered: I haven’t watched this movie in years, but I have all of the feelings tied into childhood memories with this movie. ALL THE FEELINGS. —- Yeah, considering I didn’t watch it as a kid, I have very few feels. It did encourage me to download some classic lit eBooks, so, uh, point for Connery. We’ll be reading King Solomon’s Mine very soon.

Venting About League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
I have no idea why I watched this move again. It is a very not-good movie. Well, I suppose I do know why I watched it. I was really tired and my dad was watching it and the couch was very comfortable. So this is a movie where nothing really makes sense. The entire “Phantom Blows Up Venice” scene is basically as confusing as action movie scenes can possibly get. Characters’...

The Best Part of Drawing the Fantastic Four...
…is that any proportion errors you make while doing Mr. Fantastic are not errors. They are cosmic-powered stretching, you guys. I meant for his torso to be so large in comparison to his legs. STRETCHING.
